Asian American Spirit of Scouting Service Award is to recognize outstanding services by an adult individual or an organization for demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for Asian American youths. Submit nomination forms to the SHAC Program Director.
District Award of Merit is a council award presented by districts in the same manner that the Silver Beaver is a national award presented by councils. The award is available to Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level. Nomination forms are available on each district page on the District Dinner page under the Activities tab.
District Committee Awards encourage training, tenure in a position, participation, and performance of adult leaders. Submit progress forms to the district training chair.
Distinguished Conservation Service Award for exceptional and distinguished service to conservation and environmental improvement. Submit documentation to the SHAC Program Director.
Exploring Leadership Award is a distinguished award for Explorers and adult volunteer leaders who have given exceptional leadership in Exploring programs. Submit nomination forms to the SHAC Exploring staff advisor.
Interpreter Strip to signify that a youth or adult member speaks a foreign language (one other than English).
Lifesaving and Meritorious Action Awards are national awards for lifesaving and meritorious action are made only for outstanding and unusual acts that demonstrate unusual heroism, skill, or bravery and reflect Scouting ideals. Send the applications to the SHAC Program Director.

NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award is a prestigious recognition granted by the local council’s NESA committee to Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated outstanding achievement at the local, state, or regional level. Submit a nomination.

Order of the Arrow logo Order of the Arrow awards are presented each year by Colonneh Lodge to adult Arrowmen such as the Colonneh Lodge Numbered Certificate and the Order of the Arrow’s Founder's Award. Submit nominations to the lodge awards committee.
Outdoor Ethics Awards for Scouts who have a deep interest in the outdoors, nature, and the environment, Scouting’s outdoor ethics will give you an ever-deeper appreciation of the richness of the land and how we fit into it. After completing the requirements, order from the Scout Shop.
¡Scouting … Vale la Pena! Service Award recognizes outstanding service by an adult or an organization for demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for Hispanic/Latino youth. Submit nomination forms to the SHAC Program Director.
Sea Scout Leadership Award is presented by councils, areas, regions, and the BSA National Council to Sea Scouts and Sea Scouters who have made exceptional contributions to Sea Scouting and who exemplify the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Learn more and submit nomination forms to the SHAC Sea Scouts staff advisor.
Silver Beaver Award is the highest form of recognition that a local council can bestow on a volunteer. Submit nomination forms to silverbeaver@shacbsa.org.
SHAC Conservation Award encourage adults to encourage Scouters to become actively involved in teaching Scouts and Scouters the value of natural systems and wise resource management techniques and practices through fun activities and service projects. Submit application to the SHAC Program Director.
Torch of Gold Award recognizes individuals who have provided outstanding service in the area of Scouts with special needs. Submit nomination form to the SHAC Program Director.
Training Awards for Unit Leaders encourage training, tenure in a position, participation, and performance of adult leaders. Submit progress forms to the district training chair.
VLA

Venturing Leadership Award is made to a limited number of youth and leaders who provide exceptional service to the Venturing program. Submit nomination forms to the SHAC Venturing Committee staff advisor.

Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award is presented to individual adult volunteers and organizations that provide exceptional service to rural and urban at-risk youth. Submit nomination forms to the SHAC Program Director.
William H. Spurgeon III Award is made to individual adult volunteers and organizations who provide exceptional service to the Exploring program. Submit nomination forms to the SHAC Exploring staff advisor.
