Merit badge counselors are needed to run the merit badge classes at the Orion District Merit Badge University being held in February. It's not too early to volunteer. The earlier we have commitments, the earlier we can open registration in the winter and the more classes we can offer. Merit badge counselors must be registered with the council and have up-to-date Youth Protection Training. YPT can be taken at myScouting.org.
