New District Executive

Please join us in welcoming Alyssa Peña as the district executive for the David Crockett District.  Her role as district executive will be to provide leadership and support to the volunteers in our district with a focus on district operations, membership recruiting, unit service, family Friends of Scouting, and product sales. 

Alyssa is a proud Houstonian and a graduate of Oklahoma State University, holding a degree in Sports Media and Marketing.   While there, she was actively involved with the Epsilon Omicron Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta.  She also volunteers for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Speakers Committee. Alyssa began her career with the Sam Houston Area Council in July 2025, serving as the District Executive in the David Crockett District.
