Scout Days

Scout Days are awesome opportunities for Scouts. Our community partners offer exciting experiences around the area for Scouts and their families to participate at discounted prices. In addition to the district's events and merit badge universities, many of our partners offer merit badge classes and advancement workshops for Scouts. The community partners listed have committed to following National Council and Sam Houston Area Council policies concerning youth protection, registered merit badge counselors, and advancement requirements.

Merit Badge Days

Over 130 merit badges are offered at our events throughout the year.

Merit badge class sizes are limited so that each Scout has the opportunity to learn about future careers, trades, citizenship, hobbies, and life skills while working on merit badge requirements.

Houston Museum of Natural Science - Scout Programs

The Houston Museum of Natural Science offers a variety of program for Scouts year-round for Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA.
