Every Cub Scout can be a genius or an inventor. A Scout protects and conserves natural resources. Cub Scouts can explore the science of energy through solar, electrical, wind, and even “Cub Scout” power. Cub Scouts can learn about inventors and geniuses of the past, present, and future.
Cub Scouts will see that anyone with an idea and the desire can be an inventor. They will also discover how this energy is used in everyday life. They can explore different ways to conserve energy and protect the world we live in. Promote creativity and resourcefulness. Let their imagination and genius lead the way. Science (inventions, energy, genius) is an exciting theme for a pack meeting or blue and gold banquet. Additional science-related resources are available (e.g., animals, conservation, space).
The volunteer committee is working on updating these resources with the most recent advancement changes, including the addition of girls and Lions. If you find any errors, suggestions for changes, improvements, or additional ideas, let us know.
